Furnishing of Three Schools in Artsakh

Summary

Building on its support to education in conflict-affected communities, the Izmirlian Foundation supported the furnishing of three newly rehabilitated schools in Chldran, Ivanyan and Stepanakert in Artsakh. The project complemented earlier investments in school rehabilitation by helping ensure that the renovated facilities were fully equipped and ready to provide an improved learning environment. The work covered floors, roofing, doors and windows, electrical wiring, heating, fire-safety systems, and internal and external spaces. The reconstructed school of Ivanyaan was named after Dikran Izmirlian.

The newly rehabilitated facilities of three schools in Artsakh were furnished, improving the learning environment for 326 students and 116 teachers and staff. The project helped ensure that investments in school rehabilitation translated into functional educational spaces supporting effective teaching and learning.
